About Munty Labs

I’m Munty. I’ve always enjoyed tinkering with technology and finding out what else it can do. I like trying things, asking questions, and seeing how far I can take an idea.

Munty Labs began with a solar and battery system for my home. Other people’s videos helped me decide what to buy. I wanted to share my experience so others could learn from it too.

Once the system was running, I wanted to get more from it. I started looking for ways to improve it and ideas worth testing. Documenting that gave me a reason to pick up the camera again. I’d missed the creative side of filming and making videos.

That’s what drives Munty Labs today. I try things at home, look at the results, and share what I learn. Solar and batteries were the starting point. Heat pumps, smart home technology, and other projects are next.

I’m also developing tools to help you explore what could work in your home. Visit the Tools section to see what’s coming and sign up for launch updates.

I’m still learning, and I won’t always get things right. I’ll share what works, what goes wrong, and what I’d do differently. I hope to discover something useful along the way that others haven’t tried.
